homework: assigned each week, graded for completion. partial credit if you write why you weren't able to complete the problem/ what issue you were having! homeworks will be completely symbolic so you can put them into the coding program of your choice (and you may be asked to) but also because i'm writing the problems and i don't gaf about numbers let's be real

1 midterm, 1 project, 1 final.

midterm: small set of competency check questions, then 2 larger questions. final: similar structure, competency section is larger and then 4 larger questions.

project: embodies the application side of engineering. design a machine/ system that utilizes all the concepts in the course as you learn them! checkpoints are given each week along with the homework, but aren't graded, so if you want to have a terrible week before the due date, be my guest :o)
